LeBron James, technically speaking, is a normal American citizen just like the rest of us. Because of that, he has civic duties just like the rest of us. That includes jury duty, apparently.
James posted to Twitter and Instagram on Thursday morning that he has jury duty. That’s all the information there is as of now, but you have to figure that the two-time world champion and one of the most recognizable athletes in the entire world might make things a little hectic down at the local courthouse.
Like every good American, James took a selfie picture to commemorate the experience. Because, you know, nothing says America like jury duty and selfies. Nothing at all.
