Some quality halftime horseplay would never be allowed during the regular season. But, when it comes to preseason football, anything goes.

Aaron Rodgers and Marshawn Lynch were teammates for one season at the University of California in 2004 and, from the looks of their pow wow on Friday night, it would seem that they developed quite the connection during their short stint together.

The two got together for a quick meeting of the minds as they headed off the field at halftime of the Packers-Seahawks game on Friday night, and what ensued was some good old-fashioned tomfoolery. Lynch greeted Rodgers with a huge bear hug, even lifting the Packers quarterback off the ground, before exchanging what looked like a few jokes with his old pal. But, before the two headed back to their respective locker rooms, Lynch made sure to get one last word in, pointing out Rodgers’ interesting facial hair choice and even giving a quick tickle to the quarterback’s newly grown mustache.

Normally, one man tickling another man’s mustache might be considered odd and uncomfortable, but Rodgers and Lynch looked like they were having too much fun to judge.

Check out the hilarious meeting of the two best buds in the video below.
