Tim Tebow had a relatively good showing in the Patriots’ final preseason game, but he clearly didn’t make such an impression that the analysts would remember his name.

Tebow threw a 52-yard touchdown to receiver Quentin SimsĀ in the fourth quarter Thursday night and promptly followed it up with an interception on the next drive. Analyst Mike Mayock said it was “a bad throw made by Peyton Manning,” on the air in his comments after the play. We’re not sure if that’s a compliment to Tebow, or a sign that the Pats QB is just downright forgettable.

Tebow finishedĀ 6-for-11 for 91 yards with two touchdowns and one pick in the 28-20 win, so there’s that.
