The most important two days on NESN’s broadcast calendar are when we broadcast the annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon. Viewers see NESN’s broadcasters delivering the touching stories and interviews about the great work done by the Jimmy Fund, but what you don’t see at home are all the people behind the scenes who put together this 36-hour event.

From 4 a.m. crew calls each morning to the countless hours spent shooting and editing feature stories on Jimmy Fund patients and doctors throughout the summer, NESN’s production team is dedicated to making a difference for the Jimmy Fund.  Nearly 50 NESN employees also volunteer at the event by answering phones and selling Jimmy Fund merchandise at Fenway Park as part of the network’s NESN Connects volunteer program whereby NESN offers each employee three paid service days per year to help out at company-sponsored charity events.

Please join our team and help us strike out cancer by visiting www.jimmyfund.org and making a gift to the Jimmy Fund.
