New Tennessee Uniforms Feature ‘Smokey Gray,’ Outlandish Patterns (Photos)

Tennessee football is going gray. 

The Volunteers unveiled their new alternate uniforms earlier this week, pairing the iconic white “T” helmet with “smokey gray” jerseys and pants. Though the checkerboard pattern has become a staple of the university — and is reflected on team’s undershirts — the new uniforms will feature a number of intermingling designs that will likely become standard on adidas uni sets going forward.
