Lavasier TuineiLavasier Tuinei has the opportunity to play in 2013.

The Patriots waived/injured Tuinei on Saturday. When no one claimed the former Oregon wideout, he reverted to the Patriots’ injured reserve, ending his season. Tuinei filed an injury settlement, since he would be healthy enough to play later this season.

Any team can now claim Tuinei, but if he passes through waivers, he will be free to sign with any team. Tuinei’s career with the Patriots did not last long. He was originally signed on Thursday. Tuinei has previously played with the Seahawks, Bengals and Cowboys.
