First things first when it comes to Phil Kessel. Some of us may have been a little wrong when it came to forecasting the Maple Leafs forward’s play entering Toronto’s first-round playoff series with the Bruins in the spring.
Kessel scored four goals and added two assists during the series, which included two goals and an assist in Game 7. The Leafs eventually lost the series, but that was far from Kessel’s fault. He had himself a very good series.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, have you seen Kessel’s Team USA glamour shot?
The speedy forward was among the 48 players invited to USA Hockey’s orientation camp, which apparently included taking some head shots. Kessel’s came out awesome. The Minnesota native saw his photo make its way around the Internet on Tuesday, including some fantastic parodies.
