We’ve all been there. We’ve all been there many, many more times than we’d like. On Sunday at Oak Hill in the fourth round of the PGA Championship, all-world golfer Phil Mickelson joined the rest us.

For one shot at least, Mickelson felt what just about every casual golfer feels far too often. Mickelson felt the embarrassment and frustration of hitting one really, really bad shot.

Lefty had a rough weekend at the PGA that started with a frantic rush to register and check in and ended with a disappointing 12-over finish. Mickelson finished tied for 72nd place, 22 shots behind winner Jason Dufner. The lowlight of the weekend for Mickelson, though, came on the 10th hole on Sunday. Facing a pretty poor lie in some tough rough, Mickelson topped his second shot on the par 4. The difference between Mickelson and us, though? He still somehow ended up making par. Because, you know, he’s not like us. He’s one of the best in the world.

Still, for one shot, he felt what it was like to be a regular old human on the golf course. Check out the shot below.
