Pistons Unveil New ‘Motor City’ Alternate Uniforms (Photo)

The NBA’s “city nickname” club will add a new member this season.

Joining the likes of Rip City, NOLA, PHX and ATL will be the Detroit Pistons, who unveiled their new “Motor City” alternate jerseys on Wednesday. The uniforms, which will be worn for Sunday home games, are navy blue — rather than the team’s usual royal — and feature red numbers with white lettering.

Whether or not you like the new unis is a matter of personal preference, but there is one thing that everybody can agree on: At least there’s no teal.
