Randy Moss never liked talking to the media much during his NFL career, but that might be difficult to maintain as he ventures into his new career.
Moss was close to a deal with FOX Sports to become an analyst for the network on Friday, according to Pro Football Talk. If there were any questions, though, Moss answered them with a forward tweet about his new gig later Friday afternoon.

While he didn’t do much talking during his 14-year NFL career, Moss’ new role will force the oft-silent star receiver to voice his opinion much more frequently. Details about his specific role with FOX haven’t yet been revealed, but PFT speculated that he will serve as an analyst for FOX Sports 1’s new show FOX Football Daily, which will also feature Jay Glazer, Brian Urlacher, Ronde Barber and Curt Menefee. He could also appear on the network on Sundays, too.
Moss, 36, played for five different teams in his career — the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans and, most recently, the San Francisco 49ers. He played in 16 games for the 49ers last season, catching 28 passes and three touchdowns. He also played a role in their postseason run with seven catches, including a pair against the Ravens in the Super Bowl.
