Trouble usually has a way of finding the Jets. On Saturday, Rex Ryan went out looking for it.

After a miserable debut performance from Saturday’s starter Geno Smith, Ryan turned to old reliable — excuse the sarcasm — Mark Sanchez to lead the Jets’ offense behind a second-string offensive line in the fourth quarter of a meaningless preseason game. The decision almost immediately backfired on the loudmouth head coach — shocker! —  as Sanchez was sacked by Giants defensive tackle Marvin Austin and remained on the ground writhing in pain.

Sanchez was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury and could even be seen sporting a big ice wrap on his throwing shoulder as he walked off the field at the Meadowlands on Saturday. Reporters peppered Ryan with questions about the injury and his decision to insert Sanchez at such an odd time in the game after the Jets’ 24-21 win. The inquisition led to a meltdown well worthy of a DJ Steve Porter remix (like this one).

Watch as Ryan gets real indignant with reporters and answers questions from strange angles after Saturday’s game.
