Rory McIlroy finished the Barclays at 5-under, six strokes off the lead. So, if Johnny Miller‘s reasoning is correct, the golfer is probably still dating tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.
McIlroy’s struggles this year have been tied to all sorts of causes, including his new Nike clubs. But his relationship with Wozniacki continues to draw the most attention, with folks like Miller saying love and golf domination don’t mix.
This weekend, word came that Wozniacki and McIlroy had split, with the Independent of Ireland reporting that the two were finished. The Independent also noted that McIlroy sidestepped a question at the Barclays about the breakup — and the two changing their Twitter pictures to being of just themselves, rather than couple shots — by saying simply, “It’s all good.”
McIlroy and Wozniacki have moved quickly to quell the rumors, though. McIlroy called out the source, and Wozniacki changed her profile picture.

With both in New York City for their respective events — the Barclays for McIlroy and the U.S. Open for Wozniacki — Brian Wacker of PGATour.com says the very public couple will be seen together again.

Wozniacki has never won a major when dating McIlroy or not, but she has been ranked No. 1.
