This will be a great story to tell her kids one day.

One Royals fan got so caught up in the excitement of her team’s success that she decided to celebrate in the stands at Kauffman Stadium on Monday night. The only issue was that her celebration happened to be in the off-limits fountain in center field.

The woman, known on the Internet as “Fountain Lady,” climbed over the barrier that separates the center field fountain from the stands during the seventh inning of the Royals’ game against the Twins. In the video, Fountain Lady, aka Jessica McCoy, can be seen holding a blue beverage in a clear cup as she wades in the water. When she is confronted by security, McCoy takes off running.

Security officials were eventually able to corral McCoy, and took her away in handcuffs. She originally told police that she had been pushed into the fountain (although there is video evidence showing otherwise), and ended up being charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and soliciting an officer.

Check out the videos below to see Fountain Lady’s exploits, and take a look at a close-up photo gallery of the entire event. Oh, and check out her mug shot. That one certainly isn’t going on the family Christmas card this year.
