Vinny Curry, Ryan MallettWith 1:22 left in the first half, Ryan Mallett got drilled by Emmanuel Acho and Damion Square.

The quarterback left the game and did not return. The Patriots later sent out a tweet, saying Mallett was questionable with a head injury. Mallett insisted he was fine after the game, though.

“My head is fine,” Mallett told the Boston Herald.

Mallett went 9-for-18 in the quarter and a half he was in the game. He threw for 97 yards.

“It felt great,” Mallett said. “It’s been a long time. It felt good to get out there, get hit, play the game, had some decent plays, still have some stuff to work on. But overall, it was a pretty good night. We got a win, so we’ve got to go back to work tomorrow.”

Tim Tebow took over for Mallett and went 4-for-12 with 55 yards.
