Add this one to the list of ridiculous reasons an athlete has missed game time.

Tiger Woods didn’t play the back nine of his pro-am Wednesday at The Barclays because his neck and back were stiff from sleeping on a soft hotel bed the night prior, according to a report from the Associated Press. Woods still walked the second half of the course with his amateur partners, but he only chipped and putted at Liberty National.

Woods has had an number of other nagging injuries this year. During the final round of the PGA Championship he was seen grabbing his back, and he had an elbow injury during a few months this summer. Woods told the AP that he’s not concerned about the injuries, though, and that everything felt fine while he was at home.
