Tim TebowTim Tebow was all smiles after the Patriots’ first joint practice with the Buccaneers.

The third-string quarterback appears to be enjoying his time with the Patriots. The Patriots have installed some read-option looks for Tebow in practice and in Friday’s game. Even though he appears to be running his own offense, he said he’s having a good time learning New England’s complex system.

“I’ve really enjoyed it,” Tebow said. “I love the offense. Being able to learn from a great quarterback, one of the best to ever play, to be able to learn from coach [Josh] McDaniels, and work with coach [Brian] Daboll and coach Scar [Dante Scarnecchia] and everybody that’s been in this offense. It’s a pleasure for me.”

Tebow didn’t get a lot of reps in the offense Tuesday. Brady was leading the offense in 11-on-11 drills. Tebow spent some time throwing to the running backs and tight ends. He also led the third-team offense at the end of practice against Tampa Bay’s backups.

“Just getting better every single say and just enjoying the process,” Tebow said. “I’m blessed to be out here.”
