Titus YoungTitus Young is facing an uphill climb after a series of offseason decisions led to him being charged with 11 crimes. That climb is not going to get any easier if Young continues to skip court dates.

Young, who is facing charges related to burglary, vandalism, assault and resisting an officer, was not in court Tuesday for a hearing, according to the Detroit Free Press. That’s the fourth straight court hearing Young has skipped, and the judge has issued an arrest warrant for the former Lions wide receiver.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Andre Manssourian said Young could not keep missing hearings, although he had been excused from the other dates.

Young’s attorney, Altus Hudson, said Young has been “in treatment” but did not give further specifics. Young’s family has said he is dealing with a mental disorder, and Young’s father has cited a concussion as the cause. The Lions have said they tried to get Young help before releasing him in February.

Young was arrested three times in one week in May and has pleaded not guilty to the various charges.
