The PGA Tour may have formally ditched the phrase, but Thursday does mark the beginning of glory’s last shot for the 2013 season.
The PGA Championship continues Friday morning in Pittsford, N.Y., at Oak Hill. The second round gets underway nice and early, and it includes one doozy of a threesome teeing off at 8:35 a.m. Friday’s marquee group includes Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott and Justin Rose.
The TV coverage doesn’t begin until 2 p.m., but golf fans can follow that featured group online. PGATour.com will be streaming tournament play beginning Thursday morning.
