Xander Bogaerts to Make MLB Debut for Red Sox on Tuesday Night Against Giants (Audio)

It was a big deal when Xander Bogaerts was called up prior to Monday night’s Red Sox game in San Francisco, but the top prospect didn’t see any action. That will change Tuesday night.

Sox manager John Farrell revealed Tuesday that Bogaerts will indeed be in the lineup Tuesday night for the second game of a three-game series with the Giants in San Francisco. The young infielder will play shortstop, as Stephen Drew will get the night off.
