Yasiel PuigOn Monday night, the Dodgers began a four-game series with the lowly Miami Marlins, losing 6-2 and dropping their second game in a row on the heels of a 10-game winning streak. Was the loss a case of having some tired players? There’s no way to be sure, but those who would like to make the argument will certainly have their ammunition.

After flying into Miami from Philadelphia on Sunday, Matt Kemp, Carl Crawford and Yasiel Puig headed to LIV Nightclub at 1 a.m., where they were greeted by none other than LeBron James, according to TMZ. The foursome is said to have spent $20,000 on alcohols Ciroc, Moet, Patron, Belvedere, and champagne. Kemp was partying particularly hard, says TMZ, but he’s also on the disabled list at the moment, and thus didn’t have to worry about playing Monday night.

Not that everyone is necessarily happy in Dodgertown.

Before Monday night’s game, after word had gotten out about the players’ rendezvous with King James, Puig had some choice words for the media in the visiting clubhouse. According to multiple reports, Puig shouted “[Expletive] the media,” to the press in attendance after giving a 20-minute press conference. It’s unclear whether Puig was being facetious.

Puig’s outburst was directly related to the report of him out clubbing, according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. Puig was talking to teammates in Spanish, audible to Spanish-speaking reporters, complaining about the reports of his partying, after to the outburst.
