3-Year-Old Winnipeg Fan Devastated When Jets Don’t Play Ondrej Pavelec (Video)

They start their hockey fans young up in Canada. Where else would you find a 3-year-old girl in tears over the goalie selection for a preseason game?

That kind of early fanhood is captured in this video, which shows how heartbroken young Bianca Simon was after the Winnipeg Jets decided to start Al Montoya in net rather than Ondrej Pavelec for Thursday’s exhibition against Minnesota.

5-year-old Natasha tries to reassure her younger sister that Montoya is also a quality netminder, but Bianca pays her no mind, crying to see the man who has started 110 of the Jets’ 130 games over the past two years.
