Ryan Braun Aaron RodgersRyan Braun has been busy making the apology rounds on his road to redemption, but in the process, it appears he may have skipped over the “A” names in his phone book.

After issuing a public apology, the disgraced slugger personally called up some Brewers season ticket holders in an attempt to mend fences, as well as admit his guilt and regret. But Braun has yet to reach out to his longtime friend, supporter and former business partner, Aaron Rodgers.

“I haven’t gotten one of those calls,” Rodgers said on his weekly radio show on WAUK-AM.

The Packers quarterback loyally stood by Braun throughout all of the allegations, but he expressed his disappointment when the truth came out this season, leading to the outfielder’s 65-game suspension by Major League Baseball.

When asked if Rodgers was disappointed he hadn’t received one of those calls, the quarterback answered with a simple, “No.”

The two even opened up a restaurant together last year named the 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield, Wis., but Rodgers and the restaurant group that owns it recently announced it would be cutting ties with Braun and renaming it.

Renaming the restaurant may not be completely necessary, however, as Rodgers joked his new partner could be Larry Sanders of the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks forward recently just signed a $44 million contract extension with Milwaukee, and he also conveniently wears No. 8.
