Avalanche, Nuggets Unveil Massive New Scoreboard at Denver’s Pepsi Center (Video)

Call it Jerry’s World: Rocky Mountain Edition.

Denver’s Pepsi Center, home to the NBA’s Nuggets and NHL’s Avalanche, debuted a humongous new suspended scoreboard this week that would impress even the owner of that football team down in Dallas.

The structure includes four video boards — one facing each side of the court or rink — and extends from blue line to blue line or 3-point line to 3-point line. That, according to Nuggets.com, makes it the largest scoreboard of any NBA or NHL arena.

Avs fans got their first look at the new addition during Wednesday night’s preseason game. Check out the process that went into constructing it in the video below.
