It’s no secret that David Ortiz can hit home runs.

To date, he’s knocked 430 baseballs out of the park and has cemented himself has one of the greatest sluggers in Red Sox history. Big Papi has played in all but nine of the Sox’ games since April 20, when he was activated off the disabled list, and he’s hitting .307 with 29 homers, 100 RBIs and 76 walks this season.

With one more home run, Ortiz will join some pretty elite Red Sox. NESN Nation’s Alison Smith gives the scoop in the above video.
