A familiar face was back on the TD Garden parquet Wednesday night.

Former Celtics coach Doc Rivers was back in Boston to take part in Hoop Dreams, an annual charity basketball tournament that supports Action for Boston Community Development.

The half-court tournament, which corporate sponsors pay $10,000 per team to enter, was hosted this year by Rivers, Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan and Garden Neighborhood Charities, with all proceeds going to ABCD, an organization that helps individuals and families around Boston overcome poverty.
