Jim Irsay Hypes Trent Richardson Trade Before It Breaks, Tweets ‘Day of Monster Trade,’ Promises ‘Shock and Awe’

The Colts pulled off a trade on Wednesday afternoon that rocked the NFL world, but don’t say Jim Irsay didn’t warn you.

Colts CEO and owner Jim Irsay sent out a series of tweets before the trade was announced promising “shock and awe,” and a “MONSTER TRADE” that was “the tidal wave of deal making.” Irsay delivered on his hype, and an hour later the news broke: The Cleveland Browns had traded Trent Richardson to Indianapolis for a first-round pick.
