Johnny Manziel may be the most controversial quarterback in college football, but he’s also one of the most electrifying.

During the second quarter of the Alabama-Texas A&M game, Johnny Football found himself in a dire situation. Manziel dropped back on third-and-eight, evaded tackles from every which way, and as he continued to scramble into his own territory, he somehow was able to throw a pass off his back foot downfield to Edward Pope for a first down.

It was a dangerous pass to throw with a sea of Crimson Tide defenders closing in on Manziel, but the estimated 44-yard pass became just another highlight-worthy play for the Aggies signal caller.
