The Rangers are still clinging to their playoff hopes on the final day of the regular season, but former Ranger turned Angel Josh Hamilton planned to do his best to keep them from achieving that goal.
Hamilton has struggled adjusting to life with a new team, as he’s been unable to continue last season’s success. After setting new career highs with 43 home runs and 138 RBIs last season, Hamilton endured some hardships in Los Angeles, hitting just 21 homers and driving in 78 runs in a below-average season.
The former MVP has come on hot over the final few months, though, raising his average from .223 to .250, hitting 11 home runs and diriving in 49 RBIs since the beginning of July. It seems that he’s found his swagger once again.
