Kenan Thompson Brings Back Knucklepuck From ‘D2: The Mighty Ducks,’ Nets Goal on TV Set (Video)

This could have gone pretty badly, considering Kenan Thompson is now a professional comedian and not a hockey player. But Thompson pulled it off, just like the Mighty Ducks always did.

Thompson recently appeared on Crowd Goes Wild on FOX Sports, and he was of course asked about his classic sports connection. Thompson made his childhood fame in the second Mighty Ducks movie, where his Los Angeles street hockey “knucklepuck” proved to be a difference-maker as Team USA banded together.

Thompson was asked to reprise the move on the set, and he didn’t disappoint. He whipped out the classic shot in the midst of celebrities and expensive camera equipment, netting a goal without too much trouble.
