NBC Sports airs all sorts of outdoorsy shows during the day, including one that featured a guy shooting an elephant in the face. Although, you won’t be able to watch that one any longer,

The NBC Sports Network announced on Saturday that the show “Under Wild Skies” will no longer air on the network, according to Deadspin. The show isn’t being canceled because of any PETA complaints or public outrage, instead it was the loud-mouthed ways of host Tony Markis.

Markis recently came under fire for his decision to shoot an elephant in the face on television, prompting the NRA lobbyist to shoot back with some thoughts of his own, even comparing those critics to Hitler.

“And they said but they’re so big and special and they’re smarter,” Markis said of his critics. “And I went, you know, Hitler would have said the same thing.”

An NBC Sports spokesperson gave a brief explanation as to why they chose to cancel the show, which highlighted Markis’ comments as the primary reason.

“Under Wild Skies will no longer air on NBC Sports Sports Network due to the program’s close association with its host, whose recent comments comparing his critics to Hitler are outrageous and unacceptable,” the spokesperson said. “NBCSN will continue to air all of our other quality outdoor programming.”
