Matthew SlaterFOXBORO, Mass. — We won’t know until late Friday afternoon what Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski‘s status is for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers, but the two have been practicing with the Patriots.

For the second straight day, Matthew Slater was the lone player missing from practice. Slater is dealing with a wrist injury.

New England’s special teams unit will take a hit without Slater. Fortunately for the team, almost every Patriots player can participate in punt and kickoff units. Slater has missed just five games in his six-year career.

New England was in shorts and shells. The media was only present for stretching.
