FOXBORO, Mass. — The beginning of the Patriots’ schedule couldn’t have stacked up better.
While Rob Gronkowski continues to recover from back surgery, New England will face off against the Bills, Jets and Buccaneers. To add to the ease, undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel is expected to start for Buffalo. Tuel shared the starting duties in 2012 with Connor Halliday for the 3-9 Washington State Cougars.
The Bills do have some quality players on their roster, but their strengths will be matching up with the Patriots’ strengths. New England’s rush defense should be able to handle C.J. Spiller, and the offensive line should be able to control Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus.
