Predators goalie Pekka Rinne took a cue from Alien when designing his new mask for the 2013-14 season.
Rinne’s new headgear, painted by artist Dave Gunnarsson, features one of the “facehugger” aliens from the iconic space horror film series attached to the face of what appears to be a yeti. The blue monster has appeared on Rinne’s masks in the past, including the exceptionally creepy version he sported last season.
