In June, Iverson was threatened with jail time after failing to pay his $8,000-a-month child support payments for the five children he has with his ex-wife, Tawanna.
Iverson eventually handed over the $40,000 in back support that he owed, but his ex-wife doesn’t want to see history repeat itself.
According to TMZ, Tawanna has filed court documents asking a judge to make Iverson pay the lump sum of child support for the next 13 years upfront — until their youngest turns 18. All together, that total comes to $1.272 million, and she plans to put the money in a trust for the kids.
A court has yet to make a ruling.
