Danny Amendola, Rob GronkowskiThe Patriots will be taking on the Falcons without the help of Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola.

Rumors were swirling all week about whether or not the two would be returning to the field in Week 4, but Gronkowski and Amendola did not travel with the team on Saturday and will not play on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Although the team believed their All-Pro tight end could return to game action against Atlanta, Gronkowski’s debut will be pushed back at least a week, if not more. Gronkowski was a limited participant in practice all week as he continues to recover from offseason back and forearm surgeries.

Amendola was also a limited participant in practice all week after suffering a groin injury during Week 1 against the Bills, but the Patriots will look to improve to 4-0 on the season without one of their key targets for the third straight week.
