Von MillerThe Denver Broncos are hoping Von Miller‘s newest roommates will help put a stop to the linebacker’s troublesome ways.

Von Sr., and Gloria — the 24-year-old’s parents — moved in with their son shortly after his six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy was handed down, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

In addition to the suspension, Miller has also battled legal issues that have been well-documented. His most recent run-in with the law resulted in a citation for driving with a suspended license and speeding. According to sources close to the player, Miller has vowed to return to the team a more mature and responsible person, and he believes having his parents in his house will help him achieve that goal.

The Broncos also plan to bring in a team employee to work directly with Miller on a daily basis and to work closely with the player’s representatives. According to La Canfora, Miller has struggled with arriving late to meetings and showing up to the wrong meetings at the team’s facility, so team officials will watch over him more closely and ensure that he is in the right place at the right time.

Miller will be eligible to return to the field Oct. 20 when the Broncos take on the Colts in Indianapolis.
