Sabres’ New Third Jersey ‘Leaked’ by Forward Steve Ott (Photos)

There are many hockey fans outside of Buffalo who can’t stand Sabres forward Steve Ott, but the pesky veteran put many of those same fans out of their misery Wednesday, thanks to his “leak.”

The Sabres, who have been incredibly obnoxious on social media with their ongoing “teases” about their new third jersey, took it to another level Wednesday morning. They tweeted just a small all-blue swatch of the jersey, making it clear that they were just trolling fans at that point.

That’s where Ott stepped in. He called out the club via Twitter saying that he was going to leak the jerseys. That’s impossible, the Sabres responded, saying that the new sweaters were under lock and key. It became clear at that point that maybe this whole thing was a rouse.

Apparently it was. Ott eventually tweeted pictures of the supposed sweaters. See them below.
