Sebastian VollmerFOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots’ starting right tackle was back on the field on Friday.

Sebastian Vollmer was spotted at the start of practice. He had his left foot taped but appeared to be moving well during warmups.

Vollmer did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He reportedly has a sprained foot. If Vollmer cannot go Sunday, Marcus Cannon will likely start in his place.

Matthew Slater was not spotted during Friday’s session. New England was in shorts and shells for the practice. Rookie safety Duron Harmon took Slater’s spot as the gunner on punt coverage against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay returned one punt for 12 yards.
