Tony Gonzalez Gives Nod to ‘Anchorman’ During Sunday Night Football Introduction (Video)

A staple of nearly every primetime NFL broadcast is the personalized player introductions.

The majority of the intros are rather standard (“Tom Brady, Michigan”), but some guys take it as an opportunity to have a little fun.

The king of the creative intro is Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez, who for the last four years has channeled Anchorman‘s Ron Burgundy while announcing his name and school to NBC’s television audience.
