Vote: Should Patriots Risk Playing Rob Gronkowski Against the Buccaneers in Week 3?

The Patriots offense could certainly use a spark and it may have one in Rob Gronkowski.

Gronk is reportedly “50/50” in his return to the gridiron this Sunday when the Pats host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It would be the tight end’s first game since re-breaking his arm against the Texans in the playoffs this past January. Gronk spent his fair share of the offseason on the operating table, undergoing repairs on both his arm and back — surgeries that kept him off the game field all preseason and throughout the first two weeks of the regular season.

While Gronk has been scheduled to return to game action around Week 3, many fans are hoping the Pats give the tight end some extra rest to ensure he’s 100 percent healthy so that he’s active for the long run. Additionally, as weak as the Patriots offense looked against the Jets in Week 2, the Bucs are 0-2 and don’t appear ready to give the Patriots a good game in Foxboro.
