Adrian Peterson will suit up on Sunday.

Peterson, who left the team on Thursday to be with his family after his son was reportedly beaten by the child’s mother’s boyfriend, spoke to reporters on Friday and said he intends on playing this weekend against Carolina.

“I will be playing Sunday,” he told reporters, according to My FOX 9.

“I’m ready to roll. I’m focused,” he said, according to Ben Goessling, who added that Peterson is appreciative of the support but asks for privacy.

Peterson also told reporters that he won’t be answering questions regarding the incident that occurred this week, says Dawn Mitchell.
