Berkshire Bank Rewind: Daniel Paille Protects the Puck and Scores on Tim Thomas (Video)

The Boston Bruins opened up a 1-0 lead in the first period of Thursday’s game against the Florida Panthers with great awareness from defenseman Dennis Seidenberg and a strong move to the net by Daniel Paille.

As Seidenberg skated through the neutral zone, he noticed that Panthers defenseman Erik Gudbranson didn’t have his stick in the right position, so he made a pinpoint pass to Paille, who held off the 21-year-old blueliner and beat former Bruins goalie Tim Thomas with a stick-side shot.
