All of the Boston sports teams support and root for one another.
We have seen it throughout Thursday, with Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Revolution players congratulating the Red Sox on their 2013 World Series championship that was clinched on Wednesday night at Fenway Park.
During a break in the second period of Thursday’s Bruins-Ducks game at TD Garden, Red Sox CEO Larry Lucchino brought the Commissioner’s Trophy onto the ice, where he and Bruins President Cam Neely held it up for the crowd to see. The sight of the trophy produced a thunderous applause from the fans in attendance.
The sight of the trophy also seemed to energize the Bruins as they scored to tie the game at 1-1 just a few minutes later.
