Danny Amendola, Andre Carter to Play for Patriots, Aqib Talib, Tommy Kelly Among Inactives Against Dolphins

Danny AmendolaThis is the second straight week that Tom Brady gets one of his trusted weapons back on the field.

One game after Rob Gronkowski made his return to the Patriots, Danny Amendola, who was suffering from a concussion, will join him on the field at Gillette Stadium this week. With Amendola and Gronkowski both back in the fold, Brady will finally have his full arsenal of weapons to work with for the first time this season.

The defense remains banged up, though, as cornerback Aqib Talib and defensive lineman Tommy Kelly will each miss their second consecutive game. Second-year defensive end Jake Beuqette will also be inactive against the Dolphins with old friend Andre Carter now aboard. Carter, who had 10 sacks with the Patriots in 2011, will see his first game action of the season on Sunday after re-signing with the team earlier this week.
