Danny AmendolaFOXBORO, Mass. — Danny Amendola was back on the practice field Wednesday after missing all of last week with a concussion.

Aqib Talib was also at practice. He missed Wednesday and Thursday’s sessions last week and was limited on Friday. Tommy Kelly and Leon Washington were the lone players missing.

Shane Vereen did not practice despite being eligible to return on Wednesday. Newly signed defensive linemen Andre Carter and Sealver Siliga were participating. Carter was wearing No. 96 and Siliga was in No. 71.

It was the first cold practice of the year for the Patriots. Players were in full pads. Brandon Bolden, Brandon Spikes and Talib spent time on stationary bikes.

Armond Armstead was spotted walking through the parking lot before practice. He was not on the field but may have been headed for the practice bubble. He was in a long sleeve shirt and shorts. He appeared to be bigger — in a good way — than he was when he was last spotted.
