Danny “Bhoy” O’Connor is taking on a former world champion Vicious Vivian Harris on Saturday night in Philadelphia, but fans of O’Connor won’t have to travel out of state to watch him put his 23-1 record on the line.
O’Connor is coming off a win in Manchester, N.H., where he got his ninth straight victory by topping Texas’ Raul Tover at Verizon Wireless Arena via unanimous eight-round decision. In true Boston style, O’Connor’s fight will be preceded by a rare acoustic set by Boston band the Dropkick Murphys.
