Life hasn’t been easy for the New York Giants this season.

Matching their worst start in a full season since 1979, Big Blue fell to 0-5 on Sunday afternoon, with Eli Manning adding to his mounting turnover number in embarrassing fashion. The Giants were in good position to secure their first victory of the season, trailing only by one point late in the game, but three fourth-quarter interceptions from Manning quickly dashed those hopes.

On first-and-20 from his own 41, Manning faced a strong Eagles rush, just barely avoiding a sack by Cedric Thornton. The situation looked bleak, but Manning managed to make a bad situation worse. He stepped into the pocket, saw no open receivers and forced a short pass to Brandon Jacobs that ended up bouncing off the helmet of center Jim Cordle, and right into the hands of Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks.

On the very next play, backup Nick Foles found Brent Celek in the end zone to put the Eagles up 29-21, and they would go on to win by a score of 36-21.

Check out the GIF that encompasses the entire Giants’ season below, with a hat tip to Deadspin.
