The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. In fact, some fans have predicted that this Philadelphia squad could be among the worst teams in league history.
But after the first few minutes of their season opener against the defending champion Miami Heat, the Sixers had jumped out to a stunning 19-0 lead. The highlight of the quarter was former second overall draft pick Evan Turner dunking on Heat superstar and reigning NBA MVP LeBron James.
As one of the best defenders in basketball, James usually denies these kinds of shots at the rim, but credit Turner for making this dunk look easy.
Philly ended up eking out a 114-110 win over the defending champs.
