Fenway Park Outfield Grass Has Beard Mowed Into It in Skillfully Photoshopped Picture (Photo)

We like where this guy’s head is at — and especially where that beard is at.

Graig Murphy, who describes himself on his Twitter page as a standup comic and appears to spend some of his time Photoshopping clever things together, produced an inspired image Thursday morning. Murphy has tweeted a photo of Fenway Park’s pristine outfield grass, updated for the 2013 season.

In his photo, the grass — which featured a B Strong logo for the ALDS and Games 1 and 2 of the ALCS — has been landscaped into the shape of a beard. While Boston’s ballplayers offer many options this year, this one appears to be modeled after Jarrod Saltalamacchia‘s face.

Red Sox fans can only hope that such a trimming is in order and is not just the work of a local comedy artist, especially since the Sox will have to win at least one home game this weekend to take the American League Championship Series from the Tigers, but the Sox are probably just going to stick to bearded faces.

Check out the top-notch photoshopping in the photo below.
