Julian Edelman is the NFL’s all-time leader in punt return average (13 yards per return), so seeing what he sees would offer great insight into what it takes to be a successful return man. Now, he’s offering up exactly that.
Edelman has joined forces with the bright folks over at Superdigital in Boston to give people an inside look at exactly what he sees when returning punts on the field. Edelman took the field recently, sporting the new Google Glass, and had Patriots punter Ryan Allen boot him a few balls to help offer a unique perspective into the challenging task.
Edelman ranks sixth in the NFL this season, averaging 10.9 yards per return. He also ranks second in the league with new careers highs of 41 catches and 411 yards through six games.
